Tamara Jade is an actress, singer/songwriter, and host. Most known for her roles as Effie White in Dreamgirls at North Carolina Theater, a series regular on HBO's A Black Lady Sketch Show, and as a Top 9 Semi-finalist on Season 19 of The Voice. She has been a supporting vocalist for artists and musicians including Jon Batiste, John legend, Cory Henry, Lizzo, Yung Gravy, Madonna, PJ Morton, and Tori Kelly to name a few. Tamara also received the Abe Oleman Scholarship Award as a part of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
